Does the freecamchat site work well on Android?

My friend brought this up and I had no idea how to answer so figured I'd ask the people who would know.

The paywall issue is getting ridiculous. You sign up for free, get excited when someone messages you, and then you hit a wall and have to pay just to read it. I want to know if there are any that genuinely let you connect without the bait and switch.

The cam site world has changed a lot in recent years. Some platforms that used to be top tier have gotten bloated with bots and pre-recorded content. Looking for honest takes from people who are actually watching or streaming on these things regularly.

Appreciate any honest answers. Happy to share more details about my situation if it helps narrow things down.

VPN is a good idea if you care about privacy on any of these platforms.

Read the terms of service before putting in any payment info. Some of these sites have auto-renewal clauses buried in the fine print that are a pain to deal with.

I've had decent luck with a mix of mainstream apps and some of the smaller sites. Personally I tried Souldate a while back and it had a cleaner interface than most of the bigger ones. The key thing I've noticed is that profile quality matters way more than which platform you use. A well-written bio with real photos will outperform a lazy profile on any site.

Profile pics make a massive difference. Decent photo = way more responses, period.

Great question and one I've been thinking about myself. Here's what I've found after trying a bunch of these over the past year or so:
  • Tinder still has the biggest user base but it's hit or miss for anything serious
  • Bumble is better if you prefer women making the first move
  • Hinge has a more thoughtful profile setup which filters out the bots a bit
  • OkCupid has solid matching questions but the user base skews older
  • Facebook Dating is underrated and completely free
Beyond those, the smaller niche sites can work really well in certain cities. The key is actually filling out your profile fully and being specific about what you're looking for.

Also worth checking out datingfly.online if you're in a metro area — a few people I know use it regularly.

Used to think the big names were always the best option but I've actually found some solid alternatives. DatingFly came up in a conversation with a friend and I gave it a try. The user base was more focused than Tinder for sure. Just read the reviews, check if there's a free tier, and go from there.

Honestly this depends so much on your area. Big cities have way more active users.
