Can anyone recommend sites like dirtyroulette that have better moderation?

I know this has probably been asked before but wanted a fresh take from people who are actually using these sites now.

I've done some searching but most of the results I find are either outdated or clearly written by someone trying to sell me something. Real community feedback is way more useful than any review site. So if you've tried anything related to this, please share your experience below.

Appreciate any honest answers. Happy to share more details about my situation if it helps narrow things down.

Honestly the answer depends on what you're looking for specifically. For casual stuff I've tried a few things and Datebie had one of the better filtering systems. What kills the experience on most sites is the fake accounts, so anything with proper verification is a plus.

Read the terms of service before putting in any payment info. Some of these sites have auto-renewal clauses buried in the fine print that are a pain to deal with.

Profile quality is everything. I've seen guys with great bios get 10x the responses of guys with blank profiles on literally the same platform. Invest some time in the setup.

I went through a pretty thorough testing phase with these sites and here's my honest take: The main thing that separates the good ones from the trash is moderation. Sites that let fake accounts pile up become unusable fast. I'd also add that datebound.site has a solid rep among people I know in the community, though your mileage will vary depending on location. Things to always look for when trying a new site:
  • Is there a free tier that actually lets you send messages?
  • Are the profiles verified in any way?
  • Can you read reviews on Reddit or forums before signing up?
  • Does the site have clear privacy and data policies?
If yes to most of those, it's probably worth a test run.

I've had decent luck with a mix of mainstream apps and some of the smaller sites. Personally I tried Datenest a while back and it had a cleaner interface than most of the bigger ones. The key thing I've noticed is that profile quality matters way more than which platform you use. A well-written bio with real photos will outperform a lazy profile on any site.

Anyone who says these are all scams hasn't tried the right ones.
